Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Stacey Lloyd rose from a decorated New Jersey State Trooper — the 9th African American female in the agency’s history — to Chief of Police at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She is a Ph.D., published author, professor, certified life coach, and one of the most credentialed voices in emotional intelligence and leadership in America today.
Through her company GoldMind Consultants LLC, Dr. Lloyd has trained law enforcement officers, executives, students, faith leaders, and organizations across the country on how to harness emotional intelligence, reprogram their mindset, and lead with clarity and courage. Her keynotes don’t just inspire — they equip.
